To effectively enhance the quality of sheet-metal fabrication processes, we can start from the following aspects:

The plasticity of sheet metal fabrication enables its rapid growth. Compared to other manufacturing techniques, the key advantage of sheet metal fabrication lies precisely in its plasticity. There are three main categories of plastic forming processes for sheet metal: cold, warm, and hot. Therefore, it is imperative to conduct research on these three aspects of plastic forming in sheet metal fabrication.

1. Discuss various mechanical solutions related to the plastic forming process of sheet metal fabrication, analyze the distribution rules of stress and strain within the deformed body, and determine the forming forces and work required, so as to rationally select the appropriate equipment tonnage and die strength.

2. During the plastic forming process of sheet metal fabrication, the strain and standard modification rules for components should be carefully considered. Select appropriate blanks and adopt a reasonable intermediate blank shape to achieve the desired component geometry.

3. The influence of sheet metal forming conditions—such as temperature and strain rate—on the resistance to plastic deformation of metals, as well as methods for enhancing metal ductility and reducing resistance, in order to obtain components with outstanding performance.
