　　1. Clean the workpiece using methods such as alkaline washing, water-soluble cleaning agents, chlorinated solvent blasting, and shot peening, depending on the workpiece requirements and surface conditions.

　　2. Acid pickling is generally not used for cleaning.

　　Stainless Steel Stamped Elbow Correction:

　　1. Workpieces should be corrected using static loads; generally, localized hammering is not recommended.

　　2. After correction, stress-relief annealing should be performed at a temperature lower than the original tempering temperature.

　　3. After stamping and bending the austenitic stainless steel fittings and correcting their shape, perform stress-relief treatment at temperatures below 300°C.

　　Quality inspection of stainless steel stamped elbows:

　　1. The workpiece shall be inspected according to the items and requirements specified in the relevant technical documents.

　　2. When the mechanical properties of a workpiece do not meet the specifications, repeated heat treatment is permissible; however, the number of repeated quenching or solution treatments generally should not exceed two times. Supplementary tempering of the workpiece does not count as a repeat treatment.

　　3. Before re-quenching, workpieces made of martensitic stainless steel stamping elbows and wear-resistant elbows—whether in the quenched condition or after low-temperature tempering—should undergo preheating, annealing, or high-temperature tempering.
